You do. The deposit is paid into your own Stripe account, and you’re the seller on the charge. Quotenod never holds, touches or takes a cut of it. Refunds and card disputes are handled by you in your Stripe Dashboard; Quotenod shows them on the quote’s timeline.

Only to take card deposits. Connecting happens on Stripe’s own pages and creates a Stripe account in your name if you don’t have one. You can send quotes without it; customers then accept and pick a start date, and you collect payment your usual way.

You set how many jobs you can start per day. When a customer picks a date we hold it for 30 minutes while they pay, and it only locks when Stripe confirms the payment. A full day disappears from everyone else’s list.

Under the federal E-SIGN Act and Arizona’s version of UETA, a contract can’t be refused just because it was signed electronically. Quotenod records the typed name, the time, the IP address and browser, and a fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) of the exact quote version. You get a PDF copy, and so does your customer if you added their email; they can also download it from the quote page. We’re software, not a law firm: ask your attorney about your own contracts.

For California, the builder stops a deposit above $1,000 or 10% of the price (whichever is less), as B&P §7159.5 sets for home improvement. For Arizona jobs over $1,000, it asks for the contract details A.R.S. 32-1158 lists before you send. For sales made in the customer’s home, it can add the FTC 3-day cancellation notice. It helps you include these; it doesn’t replace your own legal advice. Other states: no checks yet.

Yes, anytime, from the Plan page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Your quotes stay.

Yes. Account → Export downloads everything as JSON plus every accepted quote PDF. Deleting your account removes your business data; your Stripe account stays yours.
